Operations Manager (M/F)
Location: Annecy, France.
Contract: Full-time permanent contract.
Connecting tech to the field to make every system and every concrete action a lever for growth and performance for Samaya.

ABOUT SAMAYA
Based in the heart of the Alps, Samaya is a French outdoor equipment brand founded in 2018 by mountaineers convinced that the ideal tent had yet to be invented. Samaya products are acclaimed by top athletes operating in the most extreme environments and have received numerous awards for their innovative design and technology, offering a new perspective on the mountain experience.
We design, test and manufacture our products entirely in-house - from concept to field trial - in one of the most advanced laboratories dedicated to outdoor innovation. Our team of engineers, designers and marketing specialists work closely together on a daily basis, bringing together performance, technology and creativity under one roof, from the first prototype to the final campaign.
At our offices in High Camp, near Lake Annecy, you'll find a large, modern 1,000 m² space with open-plan offices, a showroom, a workshop, a research laboratory and numerous test benches, where our young, dynamic team is always ready for a mountain outing or a friendly get-together!
We strive for excellence, creativity, boldness, empowerment and team cohesion - values that guide our growth and our vision for the future.
THE ROLE
At the heart of the Operations division, we're looking for a curious, pragmatic and ambitious tech profile, ready to broaden your scope and take on operational responsibilities. You'll be the link between systems, data and the field, where tech meets everyday reality.
Your mission: to develop and connect our digital ecosystem (e-commerce, interconnections, automation, ERP) while guaranteeing smooth, reliable execution every day. This is a key role in the structuring and industrial expansion of Samaya.
It's a job at the crossroads of code and field: understanding needs, imagining simple solutions, connecting tools, automating flows and ensuring that everything works efficiently and reliably. At the same time, you will gradually take over direct management of operations: logistics, after-sales service, production and supply chain.
Joining Samaya means evolving in a technical, demanding and human environment, where we build fast, learn every day and transform our ideas into concrete actions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Systems, Data and Information Flow
-
Manage end-to-end digital projects, from tool selection to implementation (e-commerce, B2B, logistics, finance...), with a clear vision of flow consistency and overall performance.
-
Make systems talk to each other: connect, automate and simplify to streamline operations and increase day-to-day efficiency.
-
Develop the e-commerce back-office, configure tools and monitor technical developments on the site.
-
Support the brand's internationalization in its digital tools and processes.
-
Monitor and ensure the reliability of data: produce useful, easy-to-read reports that can be used directly by teams.
2. Logistics and Repair Service
-
Manage international logistics flows with precision and agility: storage, shipping, deliveries, returns, customs.
-
Guarantee stock reliability and inventory quality, whether for finished products, spare parts or raw materials.
-
Work with carriers and logistics partners on a daily basis to improve costs, lead times and quality of service.
-
Structure and manage the repair department, ensuring quality of service and customer satisfaction.
-
Find concrete solutions, test, adjust and improve processes to save everyone time.
3. Supply Chain and Production
-
Actively participate in industrial planning, by cross-referencing sales forecasts, production capacities and inventory levels.
-
Manage procurement of raw materials and components, track orders, shipments and quality control.
-
Working hand in hand with the product and the workshop to guarantee quality, reliability and compliance with production deadlines.
-
Help optimize physical and financial flows, identify friction points and implement concrete solutions to improve agility and performance.
PROFILE REQUIRED
-
Willingness to build and contribute to the structuring of a fast-growing company, in a fast-moving environment where everyone has a real impact.
-
Rigorous and autonomous, able to move from diagnosis to action without losing a sense of concreteness.
-
A solid grounding in code and automation, to build, configure, connect and improve everyday tools.
-
Good understanding of operations, supply chain and e-commerce, with a desire to create a link between tech and the field.
-
At ease with data, spreadsheets and analysis, with the ability to draw useful insights and support strategic decisions.
-
Professional English, in an international brand environment.
