"I believe the Alpinist 2 Ultra is the ultimate alpine tent for cutting-edge mountain adventures. It's incredibly lightweight and gives reliable shelter thanks to the materials and construction.
The design is simple and strong, with only the essential features. Details have been well-thought-out: it's easy to put up in bad snowy weather and whilst wearing gloves; the zips don't snag or catch; the tent can be anchored with ice axes or skis, and can be used with aluminium or carbon poles. Lightweight alpinism at high altitude means having faith in your equipment. It means every gram counts and is totally necessary.
I've used these types of tents for 14 years, and tested prototype Samaya versions for three years. I can now say: I think this tent is the business!"

Entirely designedin carbon, both in cross-sections and junctions, they avoid the stresses associated with assembling different materials. Their draped carbon fiber construction reduces the risk of splinters in the event of breakage, and facilitates repairs in the field. Finally, the contrast between the red color of the poles and the black of the joints makes it easy to visually check that they fit together correctly, reducing the risk of breakage during use.

Athletes at the heart of development
Our products always stem from a concrete need expressed by an athlete.
We then develop them to meet the needs of everyone.
For each bivouac
It's only after a lot of back-and-forth between the athletes and the R&D team that the products are brought to market.
The result: equipment capable of coping with the most extreme conditions... or simply making your adventures lighter and more comfortable.

In Nepalese, Samaya means "the air of time".
"In the mountains, as in everyday life, our lives are often marked by activity: achieving goals, making progress and surpassing ourselves. But it's enough to set up camp for everything to change.
The breath calms. Silence settles in. Time seems to stop. A space opens up, more interior, more vast. Far from the tumult, clarity returns. It's a reconnection. To nature. To oneself. To others. Back to basics. "
