Samaya x Les Petits Baroudeurs
RECONNECT WITH NATURE THROUGH FAMILY BIVOUACS

For its third edition, the Les Petits Baroudeurs festival was held from July 8 to 10, 2023 in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Massif des Bauges. Reconnecting with oneself and nature are the watchwords of this event, where all participants bivouac. Maureen Raway, Technical Representative, represented Samaya on this occasion and tells us about her experience.
What is the Petits Baroudeurs festival?
Maureen Raway: The aim of the Petits Baroudeurs festival is to give families a chance to immerse themselves in nature and reconnect with it. It takes place several times a year, once at the seaside and once in the mountains. This time, the festival took place at the foot of the Bauges mountains. So we were able to set up a camp right in the heart of nature, ideal for this reconnection.
Why did Samaya join this event?
MR : There are several reasons for this. Firstly, the event promotes a reconnection with nature, a value that has been part of Samaya 's DNA since its creation. So it was natural for us to be able to offer our bivouac equipment for this festival. What's more, we've just entered the 3-season, with our Samaya INSPIRE2 tents, this year's flagship products. This tent has been designed to allow contemplation and reconnection, while providing real comfort for the families who spend time in it. So everything was in place for us to share our vision of bivouacking with the Petits Baroudeurs.

What were the feedback and impressions from the nights in the tents?
MR : My feedback has been more than positive. Everyone was unanimous about the ease with which the Samaya INSPIRE2 and its two unique poles can be assembled, and the fact that installation is very intuitive. The single-wall design was also much appreciated, for its practicality and lightness. In the end, young and old alike loved spending time in the tent, with so much space and comfort, making it possible to share beautiful moments in life.
