With its Nanovent® walls, Dyneema® floor and removable mosquito net, the Samaya2.0 Dyneema® combines design and technology for year-round use in the mountains.

Biosourced Dyneema

Biosourced Dyneema® is a more sustainable version of conventional Dyneema®, manufactured from renewable raw materials, mainly forest industry residues, rather than fossil resources.

This material is based on a production process in which ethylene, the key ingredient in Dyneema® , is obtained from plant biomass instead of petroleum. This approach significantly reduces the carbon footprint while maintaining the outstanding performance of conventional Dyneema®: extreme tensile strength, lightness, waterproofing and durability.

Certified ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification), biosourced Dyneema® is part of acircular economy approachand CO₂ emissions reduction, offering a more responsible alternative without compromising on performance.

Dyneema® biosourcé

Le Dyneema® biosourcé est une version plus durable du Dyneema® classique, fabriquée à partir de matières premières renouvelables, principalement issues de résidus de l’industrie forestière, plutôt que de ressources fossiles.

Ce matériau repose sur un processus de production où l’éthylène, ingrédient clé du Dyneema®, est obtenu à partir de biomasse végétale au lieu de pétrole. Cette approche réduit considérablement l’empreinte carbone tout en maintenant les performances exceptionnelles du Dyneema® conventionnel : résistance extrême à la traction, légèreté, imperméabilité et durabilité.

Certifié ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification), le Dyneema® biosourcé s’inscrit dans une démarche d’économie circulaire et de réduction des émissions de CO₂, offrant une alternative plus responsable sans compromis sur la performance.

3 NANOVENT® LAYERS

Samaya designs single-wall tents
tents combining lightness, compactness and performance thanks to
technical membranes. Its Nanovent® technology, derived fromelectrospinning,
was developed specifically to meet the demands of tenting. It ensures
high waterproofing (10,000 mm), efficient condensation management
and breathability (40,000 g/m²/24h).

POLES

DAC

DAC is a recognized manufacturer of aluminumpoles
for tents. Samaya uses several references developed by DAC on its
its various ranges, including FeatherLite™ NFL, PL and PF , varying the
section sizes according to need. These poles are made from
aluminum combining lightness and strength, and anodized using a process with low
environmental impact.

TENT FLOOR

Dyneema Composite Fabric (DCF)

Samaya chose Dyneema® Composite Fabric for its tent floors because of its exceptional properties. This laminated textile, composed of UHMWPE fiber filaments crossed at 90° and two layers of Mylar®, offers very high mechanical strength and limits tearing in the event of perforation. In addition to its performance, this material is easily repairable, prolonging the life of Samaya products.

3 COUCHES NANOVENT®

Samaya conçoit des tentes
monoparoi alliant légèreté, compacité et performance grâce à des
membranes techniques. Sa technologie Nanovent®, issue de l’électrofilage,
a été développée spécifiquement pour répondre aux contraintes de la tente. Elle assure
une imperméabilité élevée (10 000 mm), une gestion efficace de la
condensation et une grande respirabilité (40 000 g/m²/24h).

ARCEAUX

DAC

DAC est un fabricant reconnu d’arceaux en aluminium
pour les tentes. Samaya utilise plusieurs références développées par DAC sur
ses différentes gammes, notamment les FeatherLite™ NFL, PL et PF , en variant
la taille des sections selon les besoins. Ces arceaux sont fabriqués à partir
d’un aluminium combinant légèreté et résistance, et anodisés selon un procédé à
faible impact environnemental.

SOL DE LA TENTE

Dyneema Composite Fabric (DCF)

Samaya a choisi le Dyneema® Composite Fabric pour le sol de ses tentes en raison de ses propriétés exceptionnelles. Ce textile laminé, composé de filaments de fibre UHMWPE croisés à 90° et de deux couches de Mylar®, offre une résistance mécanique très élevée et limite la déchirure en cas de perforation. En plus de ses performances, ce matériau est facilement réparable, prolongeant ainsi la durée de vie des produits Samaya.
