Samaya is passionately committed to reinventing lightweight roaming and simplifying access to overnight stays in the mountains, whether for expeditions in extreme conditions or for experiences in more accessible locations.

Samaya s ambition is to help create the conditions for the elevation of the spirit. This begins with the working environment for its team, on a 1,000 m² site close to Lake Annecy.

At Samaya High Camp, Samaya brings together large, open, modern offices, a showroom, a prototyping and production workshop, a research area with a laboratory and test benches, and a young, dynamic team always ready for a trip to the mountains or a friendly get-together!

THE POSITION TO BE FILLED

In this strategic position, you will be at the heart of innovation at Samaya, driving the development of excellent technical products. Relying on our in-house laboratory and modern prototyping workshop, you will be involved in the entire product value chain: design, prototyping, testing, right through to industrialization. Working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, you'll have the opportunity to transform your ideas into innovative, high-performance equipment designed to push back the limits of wilderness adventure. MISSIONS

- Analysis and project management from product brief to industrialization
- Product design and development in line with CSR vision (design, 2D & 3D CAD, simulation, eBOM, prototyping)
- Relationship management with plant and partners (Tech Pack, BOM, negotiation)
- Definition, organization and performance of laboratory and field tests, followed by analysis of results
- Implementation and monitoring of production quality controls
- Analysis of projects and market feedback
- In charge of providing technical solutions to the workshop as part of the transition to production

 

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Engineer with at least 2 or 3 years' experience.
• Passionate about outdoor sports, you have a good knowledge of the outdoor and textile industry (product design, textile production, technical materials, pattern-making...).
• You are proficient in Adobe suite tools and design software (3D Experience platform, Solidworks, Catia, etc.).
• Skills in product design and sewing are desirable.
• You enjoy working in a team and have project management skills.
• Organized and rigorous, you like things well done.
• You are fluent in professional English.
